Prediction: Inter Milan vs Napoli

Best Odds: 4/7

Bookmaker:

With all eyes falling on the San Siro this weekend, Inter Milan will welcome defending champions Napoli to town on Sunday night.

Inter Milan

As for the visitors, suffering a Champions League collapse earlier in the week as they watched their European adventure come to an end at the hands of Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan must dust themselves down quickly. However, although the Nerrazzuri might have come under some real scrutiny on Wednesday night, Simone Inzaghi’s men are enjoying a history-making domestic romp this season. Turning their attention back to Serie A duties holding a remarkable 16-point buffer at the top of the table, the former Lazio boss has seen his squad gain a string of praise from across Italy’s elite. In fact, des…

Erik ten Hag hopes Man Utd cup win over Liverpool can be turning point in season

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag hopes his side’s dramatic FA Cup quarter-final win over arch-rivals Liverpool will prove to be the turning point of their season.

The Dutchman declared himself happy with his weekend after United snatched a 4-3 victory in time added on in extra time courtesy of Amad Diallo’s breakaway goal, having seen Tottenham and Aston Villa both drop points in the race for the top four in the Premier League.

Speculation about Ten Hag’s long-term position has increased since Sir Jim Ratcliffe bought a 27.7 per cent share of the club but the manager believes this victory could be pivotal.

And breathe was definitely one for the ages!

International Friendly Preview: Argentina v Slovenia

Alejandro Sabella will be hoping to see a more clinical Argentina when his side take on Slovenia on Saturday.

Despite picking up a 3-0 friendly win over Trinidad and Tobago on Wednesday, the South Americans squandered numerous opportunities to pile on the goals in Buenos Aires.

Only five of Argentina s 17 shots found the target in that match, which could prompt Sabella to rotate his front line for the nation s final FIFA World Cup warm-up.

Rodrigo Palacio, Lionel Messi and Ezequiel Lavezzi led the line for Argentina on Wednesday, but with the likes of Gonzalo Higuain waiting in the wings, Sabella may feel he has more potent attacking options at his disposal, although Sergio Aguero is a doubt with a thigh problem.

That said, it was Inter forward Palacio who opene…

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of France international Kevin Gameiro from Lorient for a reported fee of 11 million euros.

Gameiro, 24, has signed a four-year contract with PSG, who could end up paying Ligue 1 rivals Lorient an additional four million euros based on clauses in the transfer.

After undergoing the usual medical checks, Kevin Gameiro signed a four-deal deal with Paris St Germain, the club said in a statement.
